Tripod is a primitive archaic structure. \u00a0Totemic and simplistic. \u00a0Three identical pieces of cast wood have been stood up and leaned against one another for support. \u00a0There is a hole in the upper portion of each one, a mouth or an eye to take in, absorb, and watch.<\/p>\n

Tree Stump, a thick stump which has broken off of a larger tree but with no visible signs of breakage. \u00a0That’s one of the things that initially drew me to it. \u00a0Although it comes from a much larger structure it is complete within itself.<\/p>\n

It has many different types of textures ranging from rough knotty\u00a0burls to areas of extreme delicacy which resemble flowing water or fine hair.<\/p>\n
