<\/a><\/p>\nI like that it\u2019s dark and hard to make out on an initial viewing.\u00a0 They’re even harder to make out in the prints because they became grainier.\u00a0 I showed them to a friend of mine and his first thought was that it was a photo of a cathedral.\u00a0 He was probably high though so let’s not talk about him.<\/p>\n Here are some pictures of the female god from the sculpture titled \u2018A Two God Universe\u2019.<\/p>\n I was playing around with pure colors.\u00a0 About six years ago I did a series of abstract paintings using a different primary color for each one.\u00a0 Unfortunately I don\u2019t have any photos of them at hand, but I\u2019ll try to find some in the next few weeks.<\/p>\n Although I think they are strong images, my main concern with the female god photos is that they aren’t cohesive enough to stand on their own. \nFinally here are some images from the piece titled \u2019Two Figures Pulling Apart\u2019.\u00a0 They\u2019re taken from a photo of the sculpture while still in the clay stage.\u00a0 It\u2019s the large connecting chunk of flesh located at the figures pelvic areas.\u00a0 I used Photoshop to progressively darken the photograph.\u00a0 Each sequence of darkening brought out a richer tone by creating more pronounced shadows, which helped to define musculature.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a><\/p>\n
